'Ghostbusters,' 'Rocky Horror,' 'Music Man' Headline October At Morristown's MPAC
Concerts, musicals, game shows, and more are coming to MPAC this month.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — From "Ghostbusters" backed by a live orchestra to a Halloween night screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," Mayo Performing Arts Center has a packed slate of concerts, movies and stage shows lined up for the rest of October.
The Morristown theater's October calendar includes classic rock, Cuban music, a live version of "Wheel of Fortune," a national tour of "The Music Man" and several family-friendly shows.

Tom Papa: Grateful Bread Tour — Oct. 8, 7 p.m.

Comedian Tom Papa brings his "Grateful Bread Tour" to Morristown after more than two decades in stand-up. Papa has also appeared in film and television and is a frequent guest on "The Joe Rogan Experience" and late-night TV shows.
Tickets range from $57 to $91, with limited availability remaining.
Buena Vista Orchestra — Oct. 11, 7 p.m.
The Buena Vista Orchestra will bring Cuban music to Morristown with an ensemble featuring musicians connected to groups including Buena Vista Social Club and Afro-Cuban All Stars, as well as the bands of Celia Cruz, Omara Portuondo and others.
Tickets range from $45 to $97.
Wheel of Fortune LIVE! — Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m.
The television game show is getting the live treatment, with audience members randomly selected for a chance to take the stage, spin a replica of the famous wheel and solve puzzles.
Prizes include trips to Paris and Hawaii and up to $10,000 in cash. Mark L. Walberg, known for Netflix's "Temptation Island" and PBS's "Antiques Roadshow," will host.

Vitamin String Quartet & Girl Named Tom — Oct. 15, 8 p.m.
Vitamin String Quartet, whose music has recently been featured in Netflix's "Bridgerton," will team up with "The Voice" winners Girl Named Tom for a show combining string arrangements of popular music with the vocal trio's harmonies.
Tickets range from $45 to $79.
Meredith Willson's "The Music Man" — Oct. 16-17
The national tour of the classic musical will stop in Morristown for three performances: 8 p.m. Friday, followed by 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. shows Saturday.
The six-time Tony Award-winning musical follows traveling salesman Harold Hill as he attempts to con the residents of River City, Iowa, before falling for town librarian Marian.

"Ghostbusters" In Concert — Oct. 18, 7 p.m.
The 1984 comedy will be shown on a large HD screen while an orchestra performs composer Elmer Bernstein's score live alongside the movie.

Toad the Wet Sprocket — Oct. 21, 7:30 p.m.
The alternative rock band behind "Walk on the Ocean," "All I Want" and "Fall Down" will bring its acoustic tour to MPAC, featuring reworked versions of its hits and other fan favorites.
Tickets range from $45 to $101.
Croce Plays Croce — Oct. 22, 7:30 p.m.
A.J. Croce will perform songs by his father, Jim Croce, alongside selections from his own catalog.
Tickets range from $45 to $101, with MPAC reporting limited availability.

"Coco" Live-To-Film Concert — Oct. 24, 3 p.m.
Disney and Pixar's "Coco" will be screened while the 20-member Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México performs the movie's score live.
The film includes the Oscar-winning song "Remember Me."
Tickets range from $35 to $79.
The Mavericks & Friends — Oct. 29, 8 p.m.
The Mavericks are returning to the road to perform the band's music following the 2025 death of frontman Raul Malo.
The show will feature a lineup spanning different eras of the band, joined by guest singers Emily West and James Otto.
Tickets range from $45 to $101.
Zoso: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience — Oct. 30, 8 p.m.
Led Zeppelin tribute act Zoso will perform a mix of the band's best-known songs and deeper cuts.

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" — Oct. 31, 8 p.m.
MPAC will close out the month with a Halloween screening of the cult classic — complete with costumes, audience participation, and a live shadowcast.
Cosmic Light Cabaret will perform alongside the movie, while a Halloween costume contest will take place before the screening.
The lobby festivities begin at 7 p.m., followed by the costume contest at 7:30 p.m. and the movie at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $32.
