Gran Fondo Raises $62K for 5 Local Charities
Fourth annual race brings in more funds than any other year, sees 2,000 riders, report says.

September’s Gran Fondo turned into a grand fundraiser, as the event – sponsored by Morristown’s Marty’s Reliable Cycle – brought in a record amount of funds.
According to morristowngreen.com, the annual bike ride traversing much of Morris County benefitted five local organizations, and was able to give them each $12,500.
Four of the organizations were the same as last year, including The Seeing Eye, Inc., Grow It Green Morristown, Homeless Solutions, Inc., and Sustainable Morristown. Also benefitting from the race in 2014 was the New Jersey Bike and Walk Coalition.
