A series of heartbreaking incidents have happened in New Jersey over the past week in a wave of violence that has residents and officials concerned.

The latest incident happened overnight, a triple shooting at the Jersey Shore. It was at least the sixth act of gun violence in the same area this summer.

The incident came just two days after a double homicide that shocked a normally peaceful North Jersey community, leaving a comedy club owner and his nanny dead.
