Higher Demand For Thanksgiving Donations At Morris Plains Pantry Org.
1,800 Morris County families have signed up for help from the Interfaith Food Pantry Network. Here's how to assist or get help.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — The Interfaith Food Pantry Network is running its 27th annual Thanksgiving Basket Program. This year, the organization has seen an increased demand for assistance.
Between its pantries, network partners and dozens of Morris County agencies with whom it coordinates, more than 1,800 Morris County families have signed up for help, according to IFPN Executive Director Carolyn Lake. And they've experienced shortages and price increases in turkeys and supplies.
“One of our suppliers said they weren’t even selling turkeys this year, and another had to increase their prices by about 20 percent," Lake said. "We are relying on the community once again to help us under these extraordinary circumstances.”
