Hoehn Marches to 1,000 Points as Colonial Basketball Player

Morristown point guard enters high school basketball program's history books.

What better way to make basketball history than on your home court in front of a capacity crowd?

That’s exactly what Morristown Colonial Sean Hoehn did recently as he notched his 1,000th career point against the Chatham Cougars.

The score came on a fast break in the third quarter, and Hoehn was congratulated by his teammates and coaches en route to a big win over the Cougars.

Head coach Bill Connolly said of his point guard, “Sean is a complete player both on offense and defense and has worked tremendously hard to continue to improve his skill level. Sean is a wonderful young man, a consummate teammate and leader, and a great role model for younger players. His hard work and the dedication and commitment of all our players has led to the successes of this year’s team.”

Morristown went 18-8 last season on its way to a sectional playoff run, and has just one loss against 12 wins this year.
