Lady Colonials to Host 'LaxFest' Benefit For Neighborhood House Girls
Fifth annual event set for April 26.

All Morristown Lady Colonials lacrosse teams are about to give back to the community and help those less fortunate have a fun day learning the game.
April 26 will mark the fifth annual LaxFest, this year benefitting the Neighborhood House in Morristown.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Morristown High School. The connection between the Neighborhood House and girls lacrosse teams was forged when senior captain Maddy Heher brought the varsity squad to the organization to run an after-school clinic for girls in grades kindergarten through five.

“Lax Fest provides girls of all levels the opportunity to embrace new skills and learn not only from the High School players, but from each other,” said Heher in a statement. It unites the community together for a great day full of lacrosse and giving back.”
LaxFest will consist of all Morristown High School girls lacrosse players teaching the younger athletes about the game and how to play, and will include shooting drills, games, and a radar gun to see who has the fastest shot.
