Longtime Morristown Resident, Mother, Dies at 100

She was born during the first World War, was an adult during the second, and has seen everything imaginable since, much of which came from the view within Morristown.

Leocadia “Lottie” Martin died Sept. 9 at home at the amazing age of 100.

Lottie Martin died just nine days after her husband of 73 years, John Joseph Martin.

Lottie Martin moved to Morristown in 1964 after growing up in Cliffside Park and living in New York City for the first half of her life.

She is survived by her daughters Lorraine and Joanne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of Christ the King in New Vernon on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10:30 a.m. with interment at Holy Rood Cemetery.
