Major MLB Broadcasters, Former Players, Coming To Morris County Stage
Two former players who've won a World Series for the beloved New York team will be attending.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ ā The voices of three big names in Major League Baseball will be jumping off the broadcast and onto a stage in Morris County soon.
The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown will be hosting a conversation with New York Mets broadcasters Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez, and Ron Darling.
On Tuesday, the three will talk Mets baseball with moderation by Drew University President Hilary L. Link. Guests can expect to hear thoughts on the upcoming season, Mets moves made in the offseason, and more.

Gary Cohen is the SportsNet New Yorkās play-by-play announcer for all SNY produced Mets telecasts, who was a member of the Metsā radio team for 17 seasons. He is a member of the New York Mets Hall of Fame and the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame.

Keith Hernandez has been with SNY since 2006, years after being a cornerstone of the 1986 World Series Championship squad. The former first baseman is a member of the Rawlings Gold Glove Hall of Fame, the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame, and the New York Mets Hall of Fame. His number, 17, was retired by the Mets in 2022.
Ron Darling has been lending his voice to the Mets for 20 years, winning an Emmy Award for best āSports Analystā in his first season with SNY, then again in 2011, 2017, and 2022. He was a starting pitcher for the New York Mets in the 1980s, also playing a role in the ā86 World Series win. Heās been inducted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame, New York State Baseball Hall of Fame, and, most recently, the College Baseball Hall of Fame.
