Man With 2 Guns in Morristown Also Had Bullet-Proof Vest, Bag Full of Handcuffs: Report
Judge keeps $100K bail for Andrew Pfitzenmayer.

The Somerset County man apprehended Wednesday at Headquarters Plaza in Morristown allegedly carrying two 9 MM Glock guns had more than just weapons on his person.
According to dailyrecord.com, Andrew Pfitzenmayer, 26, of Peapack-Gladstone, was wearing a bullet-proof vest and carrying a fake badge. He was also allegedly in possession of a backpack filled with handcuffs, ammunition magazines, and an expandable baton, the report said.
When Pfitzenmayer was first apprehended, police found him possession of the two guns as well as hollow-point bullets, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced Thursday.

At a court appearance Friday, Pfitzenmayer’s $100,000 bail was stayed by Superior Court Judge Stephen Taylor, and Assistant Prosecutor Matthew Troiano noted authorities are concerned about the man’s mental health, the report said.
No mental evaluation was ordered, however.

Authorities were alerted to the man when he was “acting suspiciously,” Knapp said after the arrest.
Pfitzenmayer was charged with possession of weapons related to the possession of the two Glock 9MM handguns, as well as possession of prohibited weapons related to the possession of hollow-point ammunition.
According to his social media profile pages on LinkedIn and Facebook, Pfitzenmayer is the CEO of St. Leger Concierge and is a firefighter in for the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department.
