The Orange man was convicted for his part in the gang rape of a drunk 17-year-old.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— An Orange man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the gang rape of a teenager in Morristown, the Morris County prosecutor announced.

Aquil Malik, 23, was sentenced on Wednesday after being found guilty for his part of the rape in November, as Patch reported. Malik was found guilty of two counts of aggravated sexual assault and one found of sexual assault.

According to prosecutors, Malik met the victim, who was drunk, at a "social gathering" in Morristown. When the victim asked to be taken home, Malik and two others instead took her to an isolated area and "sexually penetrated her while she was in and out of consciousness."
