Man Sexually Assaulted Sleeping Woman In Morris Twp: Prosecutor
The prosecutor says the woman knew the man who allegedly assaulted her.

MORRIS TWP, NJ — A Morris Township man was arrested after he sexually assaulted a sleeping woman in his home, Morris County Prosecutor Fredrick M. Knapp said.
Luis M. Sanango-Lazo, age 29, of Morris Plains, is accused of sexually assaulting a female friend in his home, Knapp said. Knapp did not say when the alleged assault took place.
The adult woman fell asleep in Sanango-Lazo's home, Knapp said, and when she woke up felt vaginal discomfort. She went to Morristown Medical Center, and underwent an examination by a forensic nurse examiner.

"Thereafter, scientific evidence was obtained that led to the filing of the criminal charges against this defendant," Knapp said.
Sanango-Lazo was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact, and criminal sexual contact. He is currently being held at the Morris County Correctional Facility.
