More Heroin, Crack Cocaine Found In Morristown Park

This is the second time in as many weeks heroin and paraphernalia has been found in the same Morristown park.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— For the second time in as many weeks, heroin and paraphernalia have been found in a Morristown park. Crack cocaine was also found this time, Morris County Park Police said in a statement.

On April 15, Morris County Park Police officers on foot found heroin folds and a hypodermic needle on Patriot's Path in Morristown. During a second patrol on the same day on Patriot's Path, officers found crack cocaine and a glass pipe.

During an April 2 patrol, officers found glassine envelopes, glass vials, and a glass pipe, all used to store and ingest heroin, on the same path, as Patch reported.

All three incidents have been burned over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.
