MADISON, NJ — Three Ukrainian international students from Drew University joined Madison officials Monday to raise the Ukraine flag. The flag will fly outside Hartley Dodge Memorial for the next 30 days.

Local leaders, organizations and the public have expressed support for Ukrainians and pushed efforts to help people caught in the crisis since Russia invaded Ukraine Feb. 24. Read more: 8 Ways People In Morris County Can Help Ukrainians

Drew students Pavlo Goloyadov, Daria Yashnyk and Oleksii Vilchynskyi joined Madison Mayor Robert H. Conley, Council President Robert Landrigan, Councilmembers John Hoover and Eric Range, and Kellie Doucette to raise the flag.
