Morris School Alum Trivia Night At Brewery To Benefit District

Morristown High School graduates, educators, families, and friends of the district are invited to partake in the trivia fundraiser.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown Colonial Nation will bring back its Trivia Night fundraiser on Tuesday, May 19, at Glenbrook Brewery in Morristown, inviting Morristown High School alumni, Morris School District staff, families and community members to an evening centered on connection and fundraising for local students.

Check-in begins at 6 p.m., and trivia starts at 7 p.m., according to the event announcement.

The event is hosted by Morristown Colonial Nation, the alumni engagement initiative of the Morris Educational Foundation.

Morristown Colonial Nation was founded in 2020 to create opportunities for alumni and supporters to reconnect and support the schools. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Morris School District and help fund educational opportunities for its 5,700 students.

Last year's event drew nearly 100 participants, with Morristown High School graduates, educators, families, and friends of the district taking part. Attendees can register as teams of up to eight or join a group the night of the event. Guests under 21 may attend with a parent or guardian.

Best Men Trivia will host the general trivia competition. The $10 fee includes entrance to Glenbrook Brewery and participation in the game, where teams will compete for prizes and bragging rights, according to the announcement. Participants can register online here.

"Colonial Nation Trivia Night is a powerful reminder of how strong the Morristown community is," said Jian Zabalerio, a Morristown Colonial Nation committee member and Morristown High School Class of 2016 alumna. "It's not just about the competition - it's about reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and coming together to support the next generation of students. Every year, the energy in the room reflects the pride we all share in being part of this community."

Proceeds from the event directly benefit the Morris School District by helping fund programs that enhance academics, the arts, and hands-on learning experiences for students.
