Blocked Punt Accounts for Lone Score in Morristown Loss

Justin Northan recovered loose ball in end zone of Colonials' defeat to Seton Hall Prep on Sunday.

Morristown opened its new season Sunday afternoon looking to bounce back from 2012 campaign that saw the Colonials tally a total of two wins on the year.

But the Morristown offense couldn't get anything going against a tough Seton Hall Prep squad, dropping the contest 13-7, according to the Daily Record.

“We expected to be better,” Coach Chris Hull told the Daily Record. “We’re really disappointed that we didn’t come out with a win. The guys had a phenomenal off season. I expected this team to be very physical. Not only did they improve fundamentally, but they improved mentally.”

Morristown was stymied by the Pirates defense, only to get one first down in the second half.
