Morristown Medical Center Celebrates First Ever Hospitalist Day

Atlantic Health System's Morristown Medical Center today celebrated the nation’s first National Hospitalist Day, which recognizes our incredible hospitalists.

The term "hospitalist" refers to physicians whose practice emphasizes providing care for hospitalized patients. Hospitalists focus on the unique aspects of a patient's needs during the hospital stay.

“Hospitalists and hospital systems align in patient care and adhere to quality metrics and operational efficiency,” said Dr. Peter Roytman, Director, Atlantic Medical Group Hospital Medicine at Morristown Medical Center. “We’re always on the floors and involved in patient care.”
