Morristown's Suzanne Scott Named CEO Of Fox News

Suzanne Scott is the network's first female CEO, the company said.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown's Suzanne Scott has been named CEO of Fox News and Fox Business Network, the company announced on Thursday. She is the first female CEO of the channel, and the only current female CEO of any major television network.

“I am incredibly honored and humbled to take on this new role and very thankful to Rupert and Lachlan for their leadership and confidence in me to run FOX News. I am beyond proud of our incredible team and the success we have built as a network," Scott said in a press release.

Scott previously served as the president of programming for Fox News and Fox business. She was at the helm of an evening line-up change in 2017 when Bill O'Reilly left the network amid sexual harassment allegations. Scott also co-created "Outnumbered Overtime with Harris Faulkner," "The Story with Martha MacCallum" and "The Daily Briefing with Dana Perino."
