Music + Photography this Saturday at Washington’s Headquarters Museum

Morristown National Historical Park launches an early celebration of it upcoming 90th anniversary with a fine art photography exhibition featuring the park’s key locations. The photographs were created by New York artist, musician, and author Xiomaro (pronounced See-oh-ma-ro) and are on view at the park’s Jockey Hollow Visitor Center, Tempe Wick Road, in Morristown.

As part of the celebration, Xiomaro will be presenting a free live concert and illustrated talk this Saturday, June 18 (2:00 pm to 3:00 pm) at the park’s Washington’s Headquarters Museum, 30 Washington Place, in Morristown. Details and a free souvenir print are available at www.xiomaro.com.

The artist will be accompanying Saint, a singer-songwriter that Xiomaro is producing at his art studio's recording room.

The concert will be followed by an illustrated talk and Q&A to be presented by the artist to discuss the connections between his National Park photography and music. Additional photographs from the exhibition are also on display at the museum.

To help raise awareness of the park’s history, Xiomaro will be giving away one copy of the book, The Fords of New Jersey, authored by Jude Pfister.
