New Mexican Restaurant Coming To Morristown This Fall
The new Mexican Grill has taken the place of the previously closed Pascarella Brothers Sandwich Shoppe.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — There is a new Mexican restaurant opening up in Morristown this year, bringing the taste of authentic flavors of central and southeast Mexico to the neighborhood.
Central Taqueria will occupy a space at 61 South Street in Morristown, which was formerly occupied by Pascarella Brothers Sandwich Shoppe.
The Pascarella Brothers closed their Morristown sandwich shop last year to consolidate the business at their Chatham location.

According to a Central Taqueria social media post, the new restaurant is expected to open in October, though no official date has been announced. "We are a group of enthusiastic taco lovers born and raised in Mexico City who currently reside on the East Coast of the US," the company website said.
According to officials, the restaurant's concept is to bring the true authentic flavors of central and southeast Mexico to the Morristown community. Central Taqueria plans to serve hand-made tortillas, Pastor tacos fresh from the trompo, which is a traditional Mexican rotisserie, Cochinita Pibil and a variety of other traditional recipes.
