In a priceless photo, Allison Swendsen, a Morristown Medical Center triage nurse, captured and shared a bright moment in a very dark time.

MORRISTOWN, NJ - He stood with his hand over his heart with a handmade sign of thanks. And as he pressed it against the glass of the Morristown Medical Center Emergency Room, his message was noticed.
"In triage the other day, I heard a knock on the window and this was what I saw," nurse Allison Swendsen said. "This man knew he couldnāt come in but wanted to show some gratitude."
She asked through the window if she could snap a picture and he nodded.
