Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning Filming New Series In Morristown, Report Says (patch.com) — Film fans around the Morristown Green can spot Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning shooting scenes for the upcoming A24 legal thriller series "Discretion," including outside the Presbyterian Church. The production highlights Morristown's growing role in New Jersey's booming film industry, as more major projects choose local streets, churches, and campuses as backdrops.
   

2. $158.4M Referendum OK'D By Morris School District Voters (patch.com) — Morristown homeowners will see about a $38 monthly tax increase after Morris School District voters overwhelmingly approved a $158.4 million bond referendum for repairs, expansions, and educational upgrades. The plan funds new infrastructure, added classrooms, STEM spaces, auditorium renovations, and a replacement of Morristown High School's aging pool, which also serves teams across Morris County.
   

3. Free expungement clinic to be held Sept. 24 in Morristown (wrnjradio.com) — Morristown residents with old nonviolent convictions can get free help exploring expungement at a clinic on Sept. 24 at Calvary Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Avenue. Volunteer attorneys, public defenders, and county agencies will be on hand to review eligibility, retrieve case information if needed, and connect people with re-entry, mental health, and social service resources.
   

4. Morristown Girls Tennis Falls to Sparta, 4-1 (tapinto.net) — Morristown High School's girls tennis team dropped a 4–1 match to Sparta, with the Colonials' lone win coming from second doubles pair Maddie Nobler and Julianne Rosenthal. First singles player Sara Schiano-Lomoriello pushed her opponent to a deciding tiebreak, and the team now looks ahead to an away match at Chatham on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
   

5. The Rocky Horror Picture Show (newjerseystage.com) — Morristown residents can celebrate Halloween locally with a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Mayo Performing Arts Center on October 31, complete with a live shadowcast performance. The evening includes lobby festivities, a costume contest, and prop bags for every ticket holder, turning MPAC into a full participatory Rocky Horror experience.
