Person Robbed, Car Stolen At Morristown Wells Fargo
Breaking: A Morristown man robbed someone Wednesday night at the Ridgedale Ave. Wells Fargo ATM, and then stole their car, police say.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Here is more information on the alleged robbery and carjacking that took place at the Well Fargo Bank on Ridgedale Avenue in Morristown Wednesday night:
A local Morristown man was arrested and charged with robbing someone while they were using the outdoor ATM at the Wells Fargo Bank at 87 Ridgedale Avenue, and then stealing their car. Michael Conway, 37, was arrested on charges related to a robbery and carjacking that occurred during the early evening hours of Wednesday, January 3.
Just before 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, police say Conway allegedly approached the victim on foot while they were using the outdoor ATM, demanded cash and stated that he had a gun. After receiving an amount of cash from the victim, Conway fled from the scene in the victim’s car. The vehicle was subsequently recovered.

Conway was taken into custody by detectives with the Morristown Bureau of Police on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Initial Patch report: Incident At Wells Fargo Bank In Morristown Jan. 3
Conway was charged with one count of carjacking, a crime of the first degree, one count of robbery, a crime of the first degree, and one count of theft of a motor vehicle, a crime of the third degree. Conway was remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility on a warrant-complaint in accordance with the Criminal Justice Reform Act.
