Power Outage Hit Homes, Traffic Lights In Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Downed power lines affected hundreds of homes and multiple traffic lights in Morristown Wednesday morning, police said.

Three intersections along Ridgedale Ave had traffic lights without power: Abbett Ave, Lafayette Ave and Morris St. Outages lasted about an hour.

As of 11:42 am., 474 homes in Morristown were dark. An additional 54 in Morris Township and 359 in Hanover were also without power. All homes were restored by 1 p.m.
