Priest Accused Of Sex Assault Due In Court In Morristown Wednesday

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A newly ordained priest accused of reaching under a teenagers skirt and touching her buttocks is due in court in Morristown Wednesday, according to reports.

The Rev. Marcin Nurek, 37, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact for groping a young girl, nj.com reported. The girl was either 14 or 15 (her exact age was not provided).

He allegedly told the girl, "You're sexy," during the alleged incident in Boonton last Thursday. According to the Daily Record, the girl was shaken, but uninjured.

Nurek was ordained just last month, nj.com reported. He was set to begin as the Parochial Vicar of Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Mountain Lakes next week.
