"I just needed to tell you that this is one of the best cakes I've ever eaten, and I'm not sure if it's because I'm about to get my period, but I almost cried," a friend told Brian, inspiring Loftus to being baking treats to help make menstruating women feel good.

The recipes include ingredients such as vitamin C, iron, calcium, magnesium, and gamma-linolenic acid, all targeted at relieving PMS, and are developed with the help of medicinal nutritionists, herbalists, acupuncturists. The treats are meant to have a "hormone balancing" effect to make women feel better while fulfilling cravings, Loftus says.
