‘The Office’ Reinvents Itself as Craft Beer Bar and Tavern Grill

Longtime Morristown restaurant doubles seating availability, redesigns interior and menu and will reopen on Monday, June 16.

When most adults think of spending time at the office, a positive connotation isn’t often the first thought.

So when The Office at 3 South Street in Morristown decided to reinvent itself, spending two years planning and designing a completely different atmosphere, it knew it needed to create smiles, not cubicles.

A complete interior renovation has transformed the restaurant from an 88-seat space to a two-story 176-seat eatery. Included is an outdoor patio area, private dining room and a balcony overlooking the two-story bar, according to 40North Restaurants, which owns the business.

The Office will now offer a craft beer selection of 40 taps to go along with its redesigned American fare menu.

“When we started to develop the menu we were able to design exactly what we thought would showcase our philosophy on excellent ingredients which pair together to create unique flavors which surprise our guests,” said 40NORTH Executive Chef Kevin Felice in a statement.
