Morristown Woman IDed As Victim At Morristown Train Station

Authorities released the identity of the woman stuck at the Morristown Train Station.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— A woman was struck and killed at the Morristown train station last Friday night.

Dawn Kerestan, 48, of Morristown was struck by Train 645 on the Morris & Essex line just after 6 p.m. on Dec 30.

The investigation closed Track 1 for a few hours, and caused 30 minute delays on Track 2.

There were 20 passengers and crew aboard at the time; none were injured. They were all transfered to another train, NJ.com reported.

Morristown Police sent out an alert around 7 p.m. on Friday advising residents to avoid the area of the station, and plan to use other forms of transportation.
