• Mount Laurel Receives $107K State Grant for Litter Removal (tapinto.net) — Mount Laurel has been awarded $107,693 from New Jersey’s Clean Communities program to fund local litter cleanup and beautification efforts, alongside a larger grant to Burlington County. The money, raised through business taxes and litter penalties, will help keep township roads, parks, and waterways cleaner without shifting costs directly onto residents.
   

• N.J. high school freshman dies after being hit by car, report says (nj.com subscription) — A Lenape High School freshman died after being struck by a car on Church Street in Mount Laurel Sunday night, according to local police. Authorities say the 29-year-old driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating, while the Mount Laurel Police Department continues to investigate. School officials described the student as a beloved member of the freshman class.
   

• Mount Laurel, NJ, Nearly 600 Donors Rally Around Gill Family Following Tragic Death of Son Jude (theunionstar.com) — Hundreds of Mount Laurel residents and friends have rallied around the Gill family after the tragic death of their son Jude, donating over $53,000 through GoFundMe toward a $70,000 goal.
