Laurel Schools Superintendent Reflects on 10 Years of Accomplishments, Difficulties, Should-Haves (tapinto.net) — Mount Laurel families are getting a new schools superintendent as George Rafferty retires July 31 after a decade leading the district through full-day kindergarten expansion, universal preschool funding, and the COVID-19 crisis. He reflects on early education gains, community resilience, and his wish to have spent even more time in classrooms as Neil Burti prepares to take over August 1.
   

• Burlington County receives new regional trail grants (trentonian.com) — Mount Laurel residents could soon see major new trail connections as Burlington County uses nearly $500,000 in grants to plan and design Rancocas Creek Greenway segments starting at Rowan College at Burlington County and crossing town toward the Levin Nature Conservancy. The projects aim to improve safe walking and biking links between parks, downtowns, and neighboring communities across the county.
