How many Twins and Triplets can we gather in one place!?
National Twins Day, celebrated annually on the first full weekend of August, is a time to recognize families with multiples while providing support, comradery, and community. South Jersey Moms of Multiples (SJMoMs) will gather on Saturday, August 1st from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Laurel Acres Park in Mt. Laurel in celebration of New Jersey’s families with multiples. This is a public and free event for multiples, families, and their siblings; you do not need to be a member of SJMoMS or a New Jersey resident to participate!
The event will include playground fun, activities for littles (face painting, tattoos, coloring, etc), water ice and snacks, giveaways, and so much more. This is also a great chance to network, ask questions, and celebrate the unique journey of raising (and being) multiples. This year, we are lucky to receive a generous sponsorship from the Camden County Council of Education Associations (CCCEA), representing teachers and educational support professionals in Camden County, NJ.
South Jersey Mothers of Multiples is a 501(c)3 organization aimed at helping to provide support, information, direction, and fellowship to mothers of twins and higher order multiples. The club has been meeting for over 50 years; making long-lasting friends while providing support and help to families with multiples.
SJMoMs hosts social events, children’s activities, mentorship and discussion opportunities, and community service programs. Our members’ children range in age from newborn to adulthood; we offer something for all. More information can be found on our website: www.sjmoms.com/upcoming.
