• 12th Annual Bocce-Ball-A-Palooza to Benefit Local Children With Pediatric Cancer (tapinto.net) — Neptune City residents can sign up now for the 12th Annual Bocce-Ball-A-Palooza, coming to Memorial Park on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, to support local children with pediatric cancer. Two-person teams, sponsors, and donors are all invited to participate, with proceeds benefiting the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation's services for New Jersey families. 
• Monmouth County: 13th Annual Pound the Pavement for Pancreatic Cancer Walk/Run to be held on Sept. 19. Register today: (tapinto.net) — A major charity 5K run and 2‑mile walk to fight pancreatic cancer will start and finish at Sunsets Riverfront Bar and Restaurant on South Concourse in Neptune City on Saturday, Sept. 19. Organized with Monmouth County and Neptune Township, the Pound the Pavement for Purple event has already raised over $550,000 for research and is again inviting local residents to register, donate, and participate.
