On Friday, 27-year-old Travis Thomas of Jersey City, a/k/a “Mush,” pleaded guilty to distributing heroin in Hoboken and other locations in Hudson County on multiple occasions between July 2015 and December 2015.

Thomas admitted that he distributed over 100 grams of heroin and worked with others, including Sterling McCoy, a/k/a “Boogs,” 33, of Pleasantville, and Jason Henderson Wheeler, a/k/a “J,” 28, of Hoboken, in furtherance of the conspiracy, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office (NJ).

McCoy and Wheeler have already been convicted and sentenced for their roles in the conspiracy.

On Friday, Thomas pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute heroin and seven substantive counts of heroin distribution, prosecutors stated.

He faces a sentence between 10 years and life in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 11, prosecutors said.
