3 Newark Streets Closed Due To ‘Utility Disruption’

NEWARK, NJ — A “utility disruption” caused multiple street closures in Newark on Monday, authorities said.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the following streets will be closed until midnight:
- Clinton Avenue, between Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Strafford Place
- Elizabeth Avenue, from Clinton Avenue to Miller Street
- Wright Street, from Clinton Avenue to Sherman Avenue
“Drivers are advised to prepare for delays and to plan alternate routes,” police said.
