Alleged NJ Dognapper Wrongly Accused Of Terrier Robbery: Cops
Police say that the owners of a stolen dog incorrectly identified a man's pet as their own.

A man previously suspected of stealing a Yorkshire Terrier last month has been cleared of any association with the robbery, Newark police stated Friday.
The owners of “Munchkin,” a stolen Yorkshire Terrier, initially identified a dog belonging to Isaiah Cobb, 27, as their beloved pet that was taken during a robbery on Nov. 24. After seeing photos of Cobb and a dog captured at a local pet store, Munchkin’s owners identified the canine as their own, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Police sought Cobb for questioning, but after speaking with him, investigators determined that he was the legal owner of the dog in the surveillance photos.
