Join staff, community members and supporters at Greater Newark Conservancy’s Outdoor Learning Center, 32 Prince Street (between Springfield Avenue and South Orange Avenue) in Newark for the annual Spring Block Party & Plant Sale on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.
This year’s sale will be bigger and better than ever with a wide selection of flowers, plants and vegetables just in time for gardening season and Mother’s Day. Bring your pots and flats back to the Conservancy for easy recycling! Newark Youth Leadership Project (NYLP) interns will be staffing the Youth Farm Stand, offering fresh and affordable local produce for sale.
There will also be lots of free and fun activities for the whole family including raffles to win gardening prizes, crafts and children’s activities, workshops and gardening demonstrations plus vendor booths providing information and a variety of products for sale.

You can also order plants and vegetables and register to be a Block Party vendor at CityBloom.org.
