A pedestrian was killed in a garbage truck accident in New Jersey on Friday, police said.
News12 reported that the truck struck the pedestrian at 4:30 a.m. Avenue C and West 55th Street in Bayonne. The road was shut down.
The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office and accident investigation team is investigating, according to the report. The dump truck was removed from the area.
