Catholic School Student From Newark Missing, Cops Seek Help
Newark authorities are asking for the public's help returning Sophia Rosa, 14, to her family.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 14-year-old female resident.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Sophia Rosa, 14, of Newark, was reported missing on Friday, Feb. 15.
Rosa was last seen on the 400-block of South 17th Street. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 110 pounds. Sophia has a light-brown skin complexion, black hair, which may be recently dyed red, and brown eyes. She was wearing a red, black and white Chicago Bulls jacket, red sneakers and carrying a Lebron James (No. 23) book bag. She attends a Catholic school in Manhattan, authorities said.

“While police are actively searching for Sophia, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating her and returning her to her family,” Newark police said Wednesday.
