Coming To America: Nigerian King Visits Essex County, NJ
"Why should we not all come together as one happy family?" the visiting African king told a crowd of well-wishers in New Jersey.

Newark, NJ – He came to America with a message of peace.
That was the main impetus behind Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II’s visit to Newark on Friday.
Several Essex County leaders gathered to greet the 51st Ooni of Ife, a Yoruba city in Nigeria, Africa, including County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr. and members of the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

"It has been proven scientifically that everybody, be it white folks, be it black folks ... immigrated out of Africa," the king said, speaking outside the Essex County Courthouse in Newark, according to NJ.com. "Why should we not all come together as one happy family?”
The king was in the United States on a two-week visit to attend the 2016 Odunde Festival in Philadelphia.
