County Bringing Mobile COVID Vaccine Clinics To Newark

NEWARK, NJ — Free mobile clinics coming to Newark will have all three COVID-19 vaccines, including Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and the Pfizer version, which is available to kids 12 and older.

Essex County’s mobile clinic will make a stop at the following locations in Newark. Appointments aren't needed.

  • Thursday, Aug. 12 - 4 to 8 p.m. at the Essex County Westside Park Community Vaccine Day, South 13th Street (football field)
  • Friday, Aug. 13 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Redeemed Church of God, 119 Stuyvesant Avenue
  • Saturday, Aug. 14 - 2 to 6 p.m. at the Back Together Again Carnival, City Plex Movie Theater, 360-394 Springfield Avenue

There will also be free COVID-19 testing available for those interested.
