Dead Body Found In Passaic River; Newark Police Continue Investigation
A man's deceased body was found in the Passaic River on Thursday morning, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — A man’s deceased body was found in the Passaic River in Newark on Thursday morning, authorities said.
Newark police responded to the 700-block of Raymond Boulevard/Riverbank Park at 8:06 a.m. after getting a report about a body in the river. Officers found and recovered the man’s body; he was pronounced dead at 8:37 a.m.
Authorities said the incident remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
