Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing and “endangered” 12-year-old girl who was last seen in Newark.
Prosperity Wilson, 12, of Newark, is still missing as of Wednesday morning, the Newark Department of Public Safety told Patch.

Wilson was last seen around 4 p.m. on Tuesday on the 100-block of 4th Avenue, authorities said.
Authorities said Wilson is 5 feet 2 inches and 234 pounds. She has a light-brown skin complexion, short brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a tie-dyed hooded sweatshirt, gray tights, black and red Jordan sneakers, and she was carrying a pink and blue bookbag.

“While detectives are actively searching for Prosperity, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating her,” police said.
Authorities said anyone with information about the whereabouts of Prosperity Wilson can call the department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website or through its smartphone app.
