Enterprise Rent-A-Car Works With Newark Students in Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Enterprise Rent-A-Car employees recently volunteered with the After-School All-Stars Program.

Newark, NJ (January 28, 2016)- In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Enterprise Rent-A-Car employees recently volunteered with the After-School All-Stars Program in Newark, New Jersey.

“It’s important to engage with students as they are the future of our communities,” said Kym Pizzulo, talent acquisition specialist for Enterprise in Eastern New Jersey. “With the help of Enterprise employees, we provided fun enrichment workshops for students in the After-School All-Stars Program. We hope that our team left a lasting impression on these students so they are motivated to be a part of the community in the future.”

On January 19, Enterprise volunteers created a career panel and exercise workshop for students in the After-School All-Stars Program. Enterprise also packed snack bags for the students to enjoy. Volunteers included Lantz Jeudy, Ogonna Anonyuo, Terri Scott, Derek De La Cruz, Tom Shea, Leigh Anne McNellie, Jason Presley and Kym Pizzulo.

The After-School All-Stars Program provides workshops in an educational environment for low-income and at-risk youth across the country. In Newark, the After-School All-Stars Program is held at the Dr. Marion A. Bolden Student Center.
