Essex County Summer Donation Drive: Swimsuits, Goggles Needed
Organizers are collecting new, unused bathing suits and goggles to benefit swimming programs in low-income areas.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Got some new swimsuits or goggles that you don’t need this summer? Give them to someone who can use them, county officials say.
According to an advisory posted on Thursday, the Essex County Park System is collecting new, unused boys and girls swimsuits and goggles at all three of its 2024 fireworks events to benefit swimming programs in low-income areas.
The drive is being held in partnership with the NJSSA, NJRPA and Dolfin Swimwear.

Bathing suits and goggles can be dropped off at the Parks Information tent at each of the following events:
- June 28 – 7:30pm - Essex County Branch Brook Park - Concert by New Jersey Symphony and Fireworks Spectacular
- July 2 – 7:30pm - Essex County Weequahic Park - Concert by Men of Soul and Fireworks Spectacular
- July 3 – 7:30pm - Essex County Brookdale Park - Concert by The Infernos and Fireworks Spectacular
