Woman, 25, Shot Dead In Essex County: Cops Seek Suspects
Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman in Newark.

Newark, NJ – Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old Newark woman on Tuesday.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Aliyah L. Williams, 25, of Newark, was shot at approximately 2:09 a.m. in the vicinity of Lindsley and Norwood Avenues.
She was transported to University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 7:07 a.m., authorities stated.

At this time, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made, prosecutors said.
