4th annual Health & Wellness Expo sponsored by Essex County College’s Africana Institute

Dr. Tyran Mincey, a chiropractor and founder of Integrated Healthcare of Montclair, headlines a large group of speakers at the Expo. The program will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Smith Hal, 2nd level. The Health Gardens is co-sponsoring the program with the Africana Institute.

     The Expo’s goal is to provide insight from various health care experts, including alternative practitioners, on how to demonstrate ways to reduce traditional urban diseases.

     Dr. Mincey graduated with honors from the New York Chiropractic Colleague, where he also performed post graduate work. He specializes in drug free methods of healing and is the author of the World’s Best Kept Health Secret Revealed. He is also a certified applied kinesiologist.

 ·   Miniser Abdul Hafeez Muhammad, author of Lessons in Relationships.

·   Lloyd Strayhorn, an astro-numerologist and author of Numbers & You.

·    Hakika Dubose, dancer, personal trainer, and founder of the CEO Power Stretch Studios.

·   Kathleen Udasco, communications coordinator for New Jersey American Water.

·   Candace Kelley, author of Coif Cuisine, which focuses on natural hair products.

·   Susie Melton, a motivational speaker and spiritual advisor.

     Free health screenings will be offered by the College’s Nursing and Allied Health students.
