For the first half hour The Diabetes Foundation will provide a blood glucose screening from 5:30PM until 6:00PM.
Novartis representative Beverly Herman Rivera will be the guest speaker. She is a registered Dietitian and certified diabetes educator.
Marketing material will be generated by the Diabetes Foundation and will include Newark Now’s logo. Marketing material will be disseminated in English and Spanish.
Refreshments will be offered.
