Newark North Ward Councilman and Council Vice President Anibal Ramos, Jr. is hosting a seminar on How to Do Business with Government with the City of Newark and County of Essex Purchasing Departments.
This event will offer a unique opportunity for local businesses to obtain information and technical assistance that may result in increased contracting opportunities. Often time, local businesses are not aware of the procurement process which exists with local governments and in some cases are intimated with the public bidding process. Through this seminar, participants will attain a better understanding of the procurement process that the City of Newark and the County of Essex follows and will receive information on notification process for public contracting opportunities.
