The Donna T. Darrien Memorial Foundation for Sickle Cell, Inc. will bring together survivors, family members, medical providers, advocates , and the general public to alert our communities about the continued presence of Sickle Cell Disease and to challenge our understanding of it.
This unprecedented conference is to educate and motivate the entire community to get involved in the fight against Sickle Cell. It will include physician, patient, and parent panels along with our keynote speaker, Dr. Lennette J. Benjamin, Professor Emerita, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Board Member of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc.
