A car crash claimed a man's life in Newark. It was the second fatal crash that happened in the city that day, authorities said.
NEWARK, NJ — A fatal car crash claimed a man’s life in Newark early Sunday morning, authorities said. It was the second traffic fatality that took place in the city that day.
The crash took place on the 100-block of Delancy Street in Newark around 2 a.m. A male victim was declared dead on arrival, a spokesperson with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office told Patch.
Detectives from the Crime Scene Investigations Bureau at the prosecutor’s office are investigating the man’s death. No additional information was immediately available.

The crash was the second traffic fatality that took place in Newark on Sunday.
