Free Pizza In Newark On Friday: LeBron James-Backed Restaurant Opens Downtown

There are no sweeter words in life than “free pizza.”

On Thursday, Nov. 19, Blaze Pizza - the LeBron James-backed fast casual concept - will open a new location in downtown Newark.

To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will offer free build-your-own artisanal pizzas on Friday, Nov. 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, according to a release.

The new store is the fourth New Jersey location for Blaze Pizza, which debuted in Paramus this past November, followed by a second location in Wayne’s Willowbrook Mall in March and a third location in Clark at Clark Commons in August.

The new Blaze Pizza restaurant is located at 691 Broad Street, across from Military Park.

According to a company release, Blaze Pizza’s free pizza giveaway record stands at 2,755 pies, a total the restaurant chain is hoping to beat on Friday.
