The Ironbound Business Improvement District (IBID) will join with representatives of AAA New Jersey Automobile Club, a division of AAA Southern New England, to host an Ironbound AAA Day on Wednesday, May 14th at Sports Club Portugues, 55 Prospect Street. The event will include three convenient sessions (9:30 – 11:30 AM, 2:30 – 4:30 PM, 6:00 – 8:00 PM) for Ironbound District business and restaurant owners to meet with the Club’s representatives (including both Portuguese and Spanish speakers) to talk about how they can cater a partnership to fit the merchant’s needs while driving AAA members into their locations.
In addition to information and refreshments, business and restaurant owners can enter to win one of three prize packages – a soccer getaway including four tickets to see Portugal vs Mexico at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts in one of the last international friendly matches before the start of the World Cup, four tickets to see Grammy Award-winning artist Juan Gabriel at the Prudential Center and four tickets to see the Red Bulls vs New England Revolution at Red Bull Arena. In addition, each prize package includes one $200 American Express Gift Card. Ironbound business and restaurant owners must attend one of the sessions to enter.
AAA club members come from Essex, Morris and Union Counties in New Jersey; Rhode Island; Massachusetts; Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield Counties in Connecticut. As part of the club’s growth in the Garden State, specialists are looking for new and different destinations in the tri-state area to recommend to their membership base of over 3.5 million members.
